Nantsuttei Ramen

Came across some reviews online on a ramen place which is newly opened this year April. It was one of the hottest ramen joints in Tokyo. Therefore we are going to try tonight for dinner!

This place is located at Parco Marina Bay, Millenia Walk at 3rd level. The area is kind of quiet during dinner time however don't underestimate this reputation of ramen shop, compared with the rest, there are more ongoing customers that appear to dine in.

The exterior is those typical Japanese style of design with big wooden squares frame and vertical stripes in between and the red window frames definitely make the whole shop stands out. For the interior, I noticed they have lots of Japanese wording framed and hang on the wall, as I've kind of forgotten their language, I could not understand the meaning of it haha.

The staff were pretty friendly and we could see how energetic and vibrant they are when they greet and serve the customers.

Their signature dish is the Tonkotsu ma-yu Ramen where the pork bone base soup is very rich and creamy, and with the ma yu(roast garlic oil) on the surface really enhance the fragrance of it. The noodles are those thin kind but didn't turn soggy even after some time, very well cooked. Another gem is their Chashu, the texture is very tender and every bite makes my saliva ooze out beneath my tongue. I would say this ramen is really worthwhile, the combination of their ingredients blended harmoniously which will definitely makes you feel like going back again.

However, something to take note that they do not have hot green tea :(, only those in canned. Otherwise just stick to the plain water they provide. :P
