Hua Yu Wee (华友园)

Craving for crab feast? You can try out one famous place for crab which is Hua Yu Wee (华友园) located along Upper East Coast Road. It was for Mum's advance birthday celebration so we were there on a Saturday evening, seated indoor with aircon. You can also choose to sit outdoor which is very spacious too.
Hua Yu Wee is also recognized by it's colonial style exterior with a big kitchen beside (another block) where there are many cooks at work. That explains why their food is being served so fast!

So hungry! Let's order some food!

This was the last dish but I gonna put it first because it's my favourite. The pincer is huge and the meat is succulent, firm and sweet. Love it especially the sauce which also goes very well with the fried golden buns (below).

Can't get enough of this

Another favourite - Fried baby squids, so crispy and tasty. Munch munch~

Fresh boiled prawns - easy to peel, simple yet succulent and good.

Fish Maw soup - not starchy at all, savoury and generous in amount of fish maw.

"Feng Sha Ji" A special marinated boneless roast chicken which goes very well with their special made sauce. *Thumbs up*

Yam Ring - Nothing special about this but still not bad though, just that it was a little dry.

Finished our food with satisfaction~ *Pat tummy*

Hi, I spent around $220. The area is more convenience to reach with private vehicles or cabs. There's also a bus stop nearby. You can click the following link and mouseover to see the available bus numbers. Hope it helps. :)

Whether your posts are an account of your daily life, or an expression of your thoughts, the SMP hopes to find a home for your memories so that it can help build towards an understanding of Singapore. Lovely lunch today. Ordered the non veg item and was pleased by the quality of the chicken and also find nicely toasted roll, thick slices of ripe avocado, and crisp hot bacon which accompanied it. The side of fresh fruit was also generous and perfectly ripe. A very good experience. Add this to the best dining view on the island on a gorgeous Fall day, and it adds up to perfection.

The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it. The breakfast buffet on Sunday was equally as good. Thanks for sharing with us such nicely prepared dishes. chowringhee south campus | kathi roll restaurant

This is a very helpful list! It reminds me of the fish list (Seafood Watch) that the Monterrey Bay Aquarium puts out which has helped shape my consumption patterns. The fact that it was on a small fold-able wallet sized brochure helped too. franchisee inquiry | Order now
